A life of community service

Giving back to the place I call home.

I am one of the founders of the Guru Nanak Mission of Canada, a non-profit organization focused on charitable initiatives and community service. Since 2007, I have taken part in organizing and participating in community initiatives, including monthly neighbourhood clean-up days.

These volunteer activities have kept me connected to Brampton and taught me the value of working together, taking responsibility for shared spaces and building community pride.

I want to encourage opportunities for young people to take part in community service, volunteer projects and constructive activities. I would bring that perspective to board discussions, while working within the collective role of a trustee.
